Overview:

As an Interactive DesignDeveloper for us, you’ll be a part of a cross functional team building some ofthe most exciting and innovative Internet based solutions in the market today.You will be primarily responsible for producing the customer-facing portion ofthe site experience. Ensuring it looks and works as designed on all the currentbrowsers popularly utilized in the marketplace.

 

·      Workswith core design team to ensure web development best practices

·      Communicatesand oversees the consistency of design integration with front end development

·      Workswith technical staff/contractors to facilitate more complex web developmentprojects

·      Staysup to date on industry evolution

 

Experience/Education:

·      Minimum2 years design experience in an interactive or advertising agency

·      Minimum2 years of digital interactive design experience

·      Bachelorsdegree in Graphic Arts or related field

 

Required Skills:

Web Development, Flash and someDesign:

·      Solidknowledge of online design, including browsers, file optimization and bestusability practices.

·      Expertability to hand-code HTML, XHTML, CSS in a text editor.

·      Expertknowledge of Adobe and Macromedia products including: Photoshop, Illustrator,Flash, Fireworks, and Dreamweaver for graphic slicing and site optimization.

·      AdvancedJavaScript and Flash Actionscript knowledge.

·      Experiencewith template engines, PHP 5, and Ruby a plus.

·      Provenhistory of creating original, innovative and strategically sound web basedsolutions.

·      Demonstratedability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

·      Abilityto work well in a collaborative environment on simultaneous projects and aspart of a team.

·      Stayabreast of innovative emerging techniques in web design & development.

·      Excellentstorytelling, animation, motion graphics, sound and video capabilities a plus.
