The Global Public Relations Manager manages the strategic planning and execution of all media and analyst relations, customer case studies, press releases, and speaking programs to ensure company’s key messages are communicated accurately, effectively and consistently to the market. The Global Public Relations Manager ensures an outstanding public image by building and maintaining strong relationships with media and analysts, securing coverage with key positioning in multiple markets, and writing and pitching accomplishments and success stories.
Responsibilities
· Company spokesperson working with the media and analysts to ensure proper and accurate messaging and coverage.
· Manage editorial calendars and prioritize stories for release.
· Strategize, write, and distribute news releases, fact sheets, etc. to media outlets and analysts.
· Proactively develop and pitch news outreach programs with the media and industry analysts.
· Provide timely information to analysts regarding technologies, products, services, financial results and strategies.
· Develop and lead analyst relations, presentations, and briefings.
· Develop required press materials including press kits, press releases, Q&A, talking points, and other materials.
· Define, submit, and coordinate applicable speaking opportunities.
· Strategize and plan awards program and write and submit applications as appropriate.
· Manage customer reference program and develop customer success stories and media pitches by interacting directly with customers.
· Maintain up-to-date Press & Media Distribution Lists
Qualifications
· Demonstrated public relations experience ideally in the technology and/or software markets.
· Bachelor's degree in journalism, advertising, marketing, communications or a related field or equivalent.
· Significant experience writing strategic press releases, pitching stories to the media, and monitoring coverage.
· Experience presenting to analysts and media groups.
· Existing media contacts and relationships in technology or HR markets (a plus)
· Experience planning awards program and writing applications as appropriate.
· Highly detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
· Creative problem solver with ability to work independently.
· Strong planning skills and ability to multi-task several projects simultaneously.
· Fast learning, resourceful, and excellent computer skills.
· Ability to work with tight deadlines and deliver exceptional results.
· Agency experience a plus
