 Graphic Artist/Coordinator

 

This position is responsible for Marketing creative projects and production of Samsill literature, sales support materials, product packaging, and company website.  The focus will be on supporting our product line, Sales Managers and sales reps.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Produce and update product catalog, price lists, sell sheets, promotional materials, and sales literature.

·  Manage product photography including scheduling and art directing photo sessions, maintaining photography files, and filling image requests from customers.

·  Work with Product Development Manager and Product manager to create/change product names, descriptions, and packaging designs and elements.

·  Design layout concepts for customer catalogs and marketing vehicles.

·  Manage creative and design for company website.

·  Produce and manage html email communications with sales reps and customers

·  Manage projects and contacts with vendors including advertising agency, photographers, web developer and printers.

·  Work with Sales team to create and update sales presentations

·  Perform special projects as assigned by manager

 

QualificationS: Must have a good eye for layout, type, and color. Ability to integrate supplied and/or stock photos and illustrations with text. Have an understanding of readability issues in typography. Can montage photos and decide when to use various effects.

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS: Ability to create and design simple to moderate projects using graphics software.  Ability to assist with art direction at photography shoots.  Ability to photograph product shots using digital camera and manipulate with software. Create power point presentations. Understands how to create web based content and design.  Computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Illustrator, Corel, PhotoShop, and Dreamweaver

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:  Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field of study, or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and training.
