Description:

 

Job Purpose:

Prepares visual presentations for advertising campaigns by designing art and copy layouts.  Creates web pages by designing and executing user interface elements, graphics and content, supporting the visual, branding, navigational and stylistic needs for the web site or web application.

 

Duties:

· Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials

· Plans concept by studying information and materials

· Illustrates concept by designing rough layouts of images and copy; resolving issues of arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.

· Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for briefing

· Completes projects by coordinating with design, marketing, and development teams

· Coordinates with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc. to ensure proper production of print materials designed

· Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

 

Specific Requirements:

· Must be an expert with Adobe Suites, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and In Design

· Must be comfortable programming with HTML and CSS

· Must be a creative thinker and highly motivated

· Must be resourceful in high-pressure, fast-paced environment

· Must be able to meet deadlines

· Must be able to work independently as well as within a team
