Graphic Design

A premier hospitality and entertainment group is seeking an experienced production artist with a strong sense of design to work closely with designers and art directors to explore new visual solutions and tackle various design and production challenges. This position will assist in the production of a wide variety of projects while gaining exposure to working processes and establishing an effective design methodology.

Responsibilities include: production of print materials, preparation of press materials for offset and digital printing with an emphasis on tight, clean mechanicals, managing and archiving design file database. Creation of marketing materials, presentations, brand collateral, websites and interactive materials, all while maintaining a consistent, on-brand look and feel for all projects.

Qualifications:
This position requires an extreme attention to detail and a solid understanding of pre-press processes, printing technologies and expertise in online and interactive environments as demonstrated in a comprehensive portfolio. Candidate should possess proven production experience and a thorough fluency with design applications including InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Acrobat/Distiller and the Microsoft Office suite. Web/interactive skills should include fluency with Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks and working knowledge of HTML and CSS. Multitasking skills are a must as well as the ability to effectively follow art direction.
