Graphic Design/Production Artist

QuestCorp Media, a unique custom publishing company producing high quality custom magazines for organizations nationwide, has an immediate opening for a skilled production artist. Our clients utilize custom publishing as a way to distinguish themselves in acrowded marketplace. Our dynamic company currently produces more than  
180 full color glossy magazines per year for a diverse clientele.This is a great opportunity to join a growing print and media design department.

The production artist must have a strong attention to detail, working understanding of layout, type and color, and is able to take instructions from a designer and create a complete layout, working proficiently in InDesign, Quark, Photoshop, or Illustrator. Primary responsibilities include working with editorial to make revisions to magazines throughout development and creating b/w and full color advertisements for clients. Responsibilities also include producing final files that  
image properly for print, flight checking and creating print ready Acrobat PDF files. Must have solid knowledge of four-color printing process, collection of files and archiving materials. Not required, but considered beneficial is a basic understanding of HTML and Dreamweaver.

Salary range: $30,000 – $36,000
