What You Will Do--Position Summary:Graphic Designer

 

NaviSite is looking for a Junior-to-Mid-Level graphic designer to join their staff.

The Graphic Designer must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and in conjunction with team members and product groups.  Enthusiasm and flexibility to work on a variety of projects are necessary, as well as, the ability to rapidly acquire familiarity with new tools and tasks as projects and the company evolve.  This position requires strong print skills in addition to an understanding of the tools of web development. As a Graphic Designer you will: Create concepts and work with existing mockups to develop graphic solutions to client needs for both print and digital Define, design, and implement corporate graphic imagery, logos, and other visual collateral for the company Assist with consistent implementation and evolution of corporate style and branding standards Create internal and public-facing company collateral, presentations, exhibits, advertising campaigns, etc Design and produce banner advertising, e-mail campaigns, proposals, and data sheet layouts and other marketing collateral Design and produce web page comps following site look-and-feel and design instruction Work with a team of designers and producers to facilitate project completion Communicate the concepts and reasoning behind design decisions to manager and internal clients

What We Are Looking For:1 - 3+ years of Graphic Design experience preferably in the following areas: Print, Corporate Identity, Web, Presentations The understanding and ability to implement creative at precise specifications Technical expertise with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign Familiarity with Flash and Actionscript Knowledge of HTML and CSS Ability to work on diverse, global teams and initiatives Ability and willingness to balance multiple projects at once (task oriented) Must be assertive, confident and efficient Must have excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
