Graphics Designer

Profiles International in Waco, Texas is seeking a Graphics Designer.  This position requires well-demonstrated skills in interaction design and solid strengths in usability principles, user interface design standards, and best practices.  The designer must work closely with cross-functional teams and with various levels of management throughout the organization to gain a thorough understanding of requirements.  Will determine and implement solutions that meet the needs of our consumers and deliver on our business goals.  Other requirements include:  ability to design, build, and launch web sites using industry-standard software and HTML, XHTML, CSS, etc.; solid understanding of web technology, including technical capabilities and limitations; working knowledge of DreamWeaver, PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator, HTML and MS Office; solid graphic and visual design skills and a proven record of designing superior, easy-to-use interfaces; ability to create storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas, using user-centered design techniques throughout the design process.  The designs must address business, brand, market, and user requirements.  Must be willing to stay abreast of new UI and human-factor issues and technology, including best practices in the industry.  Duties and Responsibilities:  Create print media to include newsletters, advertisements, brochures, letterhead, business cards, trade-show booths (flyers, promotional materials, physical booth design, etc.) product informational design, presentations, and events.  Responsible for design and development of marketing campaigns, web site graphics, marketing functions on the corporate intranet, setting standards for the corporate web site.  Other duties as assigned.  Degree and at least two years' related experience preferred.  Apply online at www.profilesams.com/pii and reference Job Posting #101342.  To learn more about our company, please visit our web site at www.profilesinternational.com.  Profiles International is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
