Group Account Director

MindFind is currently recruiting for a Group Account Director to join a leading DFW based advertising agency. The Group Account Director – Client Services (GAD) is responsible for providing the overall development of assigned clients’ business through the selling of effective marketing strategies and application of marketing knowledge.  The GAD is responsible for both our client’s strategies, as well as a significant portion of their client’s business, building strong on-going relationships with the client, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction, and providing profitable results to our client.

 

Additional roles and responsibilities:Delivers sound consulting, business advice, and rationale to clients in order for them to profitably grow their businesses.  Achieves this through knowledge of the clients’ industry and needs, services offered by our client, and applying superior knowledge in marketing strategy and design.Achieves sales and profitability goals with Leadership Team on assigned accounts.  Ensures the overall account plan is developed, recommended for approval to Senior Management, and implemented in a timely manner.  Proactively pursues business opportunities per account plan.  Leads and facilitates the strategy on the account, teaming with Project Management, Interactive Strategy, Communications, SBA and Technology as appropriate.  Translates ideas and generates proposed solutions into actionable plans that address relevant client issues.Understands all benefits and expenses of proposed strategies and recommends budget commensurate with scope and requirements of the client.  Responsible for “selling” the amount of expense required to clients and assisting clients in selling recommendations to their management.  Functions as a trusted advisor to the client.  Continuously educates self on clients business and issues. Accountable, with the Creative Director, for the creative concept and strategy presented to clients.  Partners closely with the Communication Strategist to develop overall communication strategy.  Leads presentation of creative strategy to client. Demonstrates an overall understanding of the creative process, evaluation of creative deliverables, and the cost components.

Requirements:

1. Minimum requirements include 8-12 years applicable work experience.

2. Preferred requirements include a Bachelors Degree in related field and CRM or marketing experience.

3. Possess an advanced level of consumer marketing knowledge and a superior knowledge of client’s business.

4. Possess a working understanding of CRM principles and applications.

5. Solid understanding of our client’s competencies including analytics, creative development, and relational database technology.

6. Comprehensive understanding of the latest trends in the interactive industry including but not limited to e-mail, web development, and all-line analytics; knowledge of managing, developing, and launching interactive initiatives

7. Basic accounting and financial principles for managing budgets and client billings

8. Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

9. Experience in CPG a huge plus
