Group Creative Directors at imc2 are responsible for leading, managing and directing the creative work for $10-15 million worth of interactive brand spend, as well as for the education, inspiration and professional development of the Group’s creative staff. They report directly to the Executive Creative Director.

 

Position Responsibilities:Lead and Manage $10-15mil in creative development of web-based site destinations, integrated advertising campaigns and new and emerging media creative solutions that “set the bar” within the interactive space (interactive experience is a MUST!) Oversee the conceptual development, execution, presentation and innovations on multiple creative assignments from a single point of responsibility and accountability for breakthrough interactive work. This is how you will be measured. Ensure the translation of consumer insights, brand positioning and unique selling propositions into BIG BRAND IDEAS that are executed across multiple creative deliverables – both online and offline. Oversee assignment of creative directors, associate creative directors, writers, interaction designers and tech developers with the group into teams create engaging user experiences for the consumer across multiple deliverables. Ensure quality, consistency and professional collaboration between members of the Group and team members of the Business & Brand Strategy Group, Client Services Representatives and Tech Development & Delivery teams. Represent the collective creative work conceived by the Group internally to Senior Management as well as externally to Client Brand Marketers and advertising professionals as well as industry trade organizations with both passion and professionalism Promote our creative culture through educating, inspiring and developing the Group’s skills and determination to execute great interactive work.

 REQUIREMENTS (TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW): 8-10 years industry experience (preferably with an agency) with a minimum of 5 years as an interactive creative director Proven ability to lead and mentor creative staff An interactive portfolio of Award Winning Work Senior experience as a Copywriter, Art Director or Graphic Designer in Interactive Advertising/Web Design - if you don't have senior interactive experience, this will not be the right position for you Strong grasp of award-winning practices in online design, user experience and information architecture and a POV about best practices in online user experience Great presentation skills – both internal and external Strong understanding of Internet experience methodologies both site-based and advertising based Ability to inspire and direct others in the delivery of award-winning work
