Head of Financial Modeling

Head of Financial Modeling opening in Mid-Atlantic Region. Responsibilities: oversight, development and enhancement of the financial models and processes utilized for: Cash Flow Testing; Economic Capital; ALM; Planning/Budget; Local country requirements such as ICAS (UK) and Solvency II (Europe); GAAP loss recognition testing; translation of the results of completed analyses into recommendations for action to the senior management team; continuous refinement and enhancement of the processes to more efficiently and effectively meet the actuarial/financial modeling needs of the organization; monitor emerging experience and incorporate into the modeling process as appropriate; provide input for the policies, methodologies and assumptions used for the actuarial/financial modeling process; coordinate the timely and accurate filing of the reports for the related areas; support ERM in the implementation of Economic Capital. Major lines of business to be supported include: UL, variable life, traditional life, individual A&H, payout annuities, deferred annuities (fixed and variable), terminal funding annuities, group medical, group life.
