Health & Benefits Senior Actuarial Consultant opening in New York. Work with a team of consultants to deliver customized solutions that enhance clients' ability to effectively manage their health care benefit programs and to oversee financial analyses, including measurement of retiree medical liabilities. Responsibilities include: provide specialized consulting and project oversight for retiree medical program design and liability measurement; work directly with companies to manage and design active healthcare programs, including strategy development and financial analysis; serve as a technical resource to Health & Benefits consulting staff; serve in staff supervisory/development capacity for junior and mid-level actuarial and financial consultants; assist sales professionals with continued growth of Health & Benefits business. EA or ASA required, FSA preferred with 10 + years of health or retirement actuarial experience, preferably in a consulting environment, ability to identify, design, recommend and implement efficient, innovative business solutions, manage large, complicated client projects, knowledge of the valuation process for FAS 87 or FAS 106.
