Human Resources Generalist

Ignite Health, an inVentiv Communications Company based in Irvine is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join its growing team.  Ignite is a new breed of advertising agency with a fresh approach to healthcare marketing and communications. By complementing highly focused print strategies with a wide range of tailored digital strategies – from online advertising and patient education to custom-engineered games and simulations – the company helps clients meet their objectives with unparalleled effectiveness and efficiency.

 

Position Summary:

 

·  This position is responsible for administering all HR-related activities & services as directed by inVentiv Communications Human Resources, with an emphasis on recruitment, resource utilization, employee relations, and talent management. Implements performance management systems as designed by inVentiv Communications Human Resources and is the first line contact for policy interpretation, compensation & benefits administration, and other areas related to Human Resources for Ignite on both West coast (Irivine, CA) and East coast (Somerset, NJ) locations. 

 

 

General and Daily Responsibilities:

 

·  Proactively partners with managers and the inVentiv Communications Human Resources team to implement recruiting, retention, and various HR programs.

·  Partners with Ignite leadership and HR Staffing Manager to ensure that the Irvine office is staffed effectively to meet business needs, including sourcing and recruitment of talent.

·  Participates in employee relations and progressive disciplinary practices for Ignite.

·  Implements formalized performance management systems to include performance evaluation process, personal development plans and performance improvement plans.

·  Leads orientation and on boarding efforts for new employees.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills Required:

 

 

·  Bachelors Degree or at least 5 - 7 years related experience and/or training in Human Resources; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·  Experience as an HR generalist with a broad understanding of all areas of HR, including recruiting and employee relations.

·  Solid business acumen, strong interpersonal & communications and organizational skills.

·  Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively.

·  Strong customer service orientation, and proven ability to effectively work with within all organizational levels.

·  High degree of confidentiality and flexibility required.

·  Must be willing to travel on a regular basis (25 - 30%) as a fundamental requirement of the job
