Human Resources Manager
Responsible for generalist activities including but not limited to employee relations, implementation of compensation, organizational development, benefit programs, payroll issues and recruitment.  Partner with department heads and line managers to ensure HR laws and practices are followed, performance management processes and career goals are supported, staffing plans are communicated and filled, as well as company business objectives and goals are met.  

Responsibilities:

Employee Relations
Proactively engages within specified offices to establish relationships, identify, roll out and maintain initiatives that meet corporate HR goals as well as local business objectives.Provides counsel and advice to employees and managers to ensure appropriate steps are taken with respect to all employee relations issues within the company’s policies and procedures.Works with management and HR Director to resolve any conflicts within management structure or between employee/manager relationships.Responsible for maintaining all performance improvement plans including review of all plans and management of timeframes.Responsible for owning the Exit Interview process for terminating employees including involuntary separation agreements/terms.Take on new initiatives as the company changes and grows.Benefits
Actively participate in and share responsibility for administering the benefit plans in accordance with the Plan agreements and established policies.  Act as local benefits contact in coordinating with corporate benefits function all aspects of enrollment, changes, etc.Exercise knowledge of state laws to ensure compliance on all levels with respect to benefits (unemployment, FMLA, etc.)Manage all local Leave of Absence requests, supervision and returns.Manage local work life benefits programs/activities (corporate anniversary gifts, wellness programs, local volunteer programs and local employee discount/convenience programs).Compensation/Performance Management Planning
Together with Director HR manage the performance management (PMP) and compensation review processesProvide input for ongoing industry and geographic compensation competitiveness.Manage all local requests for payroll issues and coordinate with corporate payroll function (new hires, terminations, W-2 changes, direct deposit, etc.)Recruitment/On-Boarding
Works in conjunction with senior HR management and recruitment team to ensure workforce planning is reflected in recruitment efforts.  Meets weekly with recruitment team to ensure collaboration for on-boarding and other HR activities.Oversees local New Hire Orientation Program.  Ensures all new hires have executed all appropriate documents prior to hire (or within allotted timeframes).Organizational Development/Training
Responsible for managing and administering the company Rewards & Recognition ProgramCoordinate and facilitate all local trainingsAnalyze on going training and make recommendations on current and future training programsData Integrity/HRIS Management
Enter all employee transactions into the HRIS systemQualifications:
3-5 years experience in a generalist role acting independentlyAbility to work independentlyVersatile and flexible in style and approachDetail oriented – never leaving questions unansweredResponsive and service orientedStrong analytical and problem solving abilitiesExcellent written and oral communication skills Able to present recommendations/ideas to broad teamsExperience executing strategies that support HR objectivesKnowledge of Word, Powerpoint and Excel Knowledge of Peoplesoft, Reportsmith, and ADP a plusBachelors Degree
