Hyperion Essbase Administrator

ur client is a solid, focused, rising organization in the financial services industry. They employ thousands of people in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. This client is seeking a full time employee as a Hyperion Essbase Administrator to provide technical expertise for the successful design and implementation of their Enterprise Reporting environments. This Employee designs and plans the implementation, optimization and operation of Business Intelligence systems and investigates methods to improve efficiencies. This is a full time position!

In this role, the Hyperion Essbase Administrator works with management to determine business needs and implements effective enterprise-wide reporting strategies. Designs complex OLAP configurations to maximize the sharing of applications, information and resources across the company. Manages the Hyperion Essbase environment to ensure effective use of the installed technology. Investigates and resolves problems, inefficiencies and enhances operational performance. Provides strategic planning and technical support to determine the reporting business needs throughout the company.

You will be responsible to coordinate with vendors/departments to procure hardware, software and services and obtain their assistance to achieve timely completion of projects. Creates documentation and performs analysis for use in System's growth and planning needs.

This role also researches new technologies to improve efficiencies with technology.

Performs business case studies to justify the need for technology. Provides ongoing information to management, peers and customers regarding enhancements and innovations.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

• 4-7+ years Information Technology;

• 2+ years of Hyperion Essbase product suite experience;

• 1+ years of Hyperion Essbase Administration experience;

• 4+ years of RDBMS experience utilizing SQL (Oracle, MS SQL Server)

• Ability to demonstrate in past work experiences overseeing the reporting environment to ensure effective use of the installed technology.

• Ability to Investigate and resolve problems, inefficiencies and enhances performance.

• Communicates business data priorities to the technology organization accordingly, in order to drive effective business solutions.

Desired Skills

• Experience as an Hyperion Essbase Developer
