IT Director
Empower MediaMarketing has our Director, Information Technology as an immediate opportunity.
Our Director will lead a 5 person IT team in the selection, development, maintenance of cost-effective communication & computer technologies (standard desktop applications, and the associated hardware platforms, databases, network connectivity) for our corporate offices, remote locations, and telecommuters. Other responsibilities include:Leading the team to evaluate key systems by conducting research, analyzing, selecting and presenting recommendations for new IT investments to enhance core business abilities. Experience in Microsoft’s Sharepoint, other work flow technologies and dashboards desired.Project management and integration of new technology to increase Empower’s business and workflow processes to ensure our core abilities to research, plan and buy media, reliability. Preferred Media Agency experience involving the adoption of emerging technology to drive the Media Agency advantage. Management of staff: setting expectations, developing technical abilities, mentoring & coaching, work flow planning, and conducting performance evaluations for team.
Qualifications for Director of Information Technology:Bachelor’s degree in IT field (Computer Science/Engineering, MIS, etc) from accredited institution.Minimum of 5 years clearly in IT leadership-management roles and with business process expertise.Have a thorough understanding of SharePoint and serve as a global SharePoint administrator.Preferred Media Agency experience involving the adoption of IT best practices such as Microsoft’s Sharepoint, other work flow technologies and dashboards to drive IT performance.Solid, extensive experience in one or more aspects of technical infrastructure (e.g. information systems, security systems, and telecommunications networks).Experience in evaluating key systems/processes, such as enterprise resource planning, data administration, capacity planning, business process software, system security, continuity business plan, and emergency preparedness. Advanced project management skills training and experience in successfully managing a major project, which integrates multiple business areas or systems. Demonstrated ability to set objectives & goals for self & team, and develops tactics to achieve them.Demonstrated initiative to research new ideas.Highly enthusiastic, passionate, curious, confident and tenacious in learning about IT.Demonstrated strong analytical orientation and attention to detail to produce results.Demonstrated collaboration and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with clients & coworkersDemonstrates effective business writing. Prepare specialty financial forecast as requested.Superior listening skills & creative problem resolution skills.
