THE SKETCH

 

It has to be done on time and done correctly.  You own it from start to finish, but have additional resources available for collaboration.  You are comfortable and knowledgeable on Mac OS, Windows, and Linux/Unix server platforms. 

 

The IT Specialist, supports our server infrastructure, and is integral to the successful achievement of department goals, participates in project implementation, troubleshoots software and hardware problems, all at a faster-that-average pace.  If you’re the technical expert we are looking for, then let’s go! 

 

YOUR TOOLS

 

Education and Experience

 

• Four-year degree from a college or university or work equivalent

• Three or more years experience with Mac OS and Windows operating systems

• One or more years experience with Mac, Windows, and Linus/Unix Server Operating Systems

• One or more years experience with Windows and Linus/Unix Server Applications

• Three or more years support experience

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

• Comfortable setting up infrastructure hardware and software

• Familiarity with external storage and storage area networks a plus

• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and solve hardware and software server problems

• Comfortable communicating with all levels of management, clients, and employees
