The Cavanaugh Marketing Network is seeking a field-based sales representative to develop, sell and maintain a promotional products client base in the Charlotte market by driving growth revenue utilizing corporate identity, advertising and branding programs.

We are a distributor of over 700,000 branded products, apparel and merchandise for businesses and organizations featuring their names and logo.  This b-to-b market features a broad target market as 95% of companies rely on promotional products to complement their advertising and marketing programs.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Responsible for achieving annual budget and growth expectations.  Identify client short-term and long-term promotional products needs and develops and maintains business partnerships with repeat sales solutions.  Build rapport and trust with contacts, identifying new opportunities, and acting with professionalism and integrity while promoting a positive image within the local business community.  Maintain effective communication between territory, account base and corporate support staff.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:A proven outside sales track record with ability to cold call, prospect and develop new business. 2+ years of successful media sales or equivalent experience preferred. Enthusiastic, high-energy, detail-focused. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
