Primary Responsibilities

 Ultimately accountable for the vision, strategy, and execution of the creative design for our product and sales teamsLeading a User Interface Design team Front-end development of several media applications used by advertising agencies.Leading a team in developing & producing user profiles, user scenarios, wireframes, interface design concepts, prototypes & production-ready mockups.Attend user interviews and will be responsible for translating user business requirements into high quality design.Assisting with the work product & deliverable creation & with the maintenance of application interface content.Presenting to senior client exec's & facilitating workshops as well as providing hands-on leadership & mentoring to a teamProficiency with design tools including Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia FlashGIF animation; excellent graphic and HTML optimization skillsExtensive knowledge and experience in HTML, XHTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSSCandidate must be highly creative and possess excellent communication skills. Must be able to work efficiently and collaboratively to juggle many projects and meet deadlinesresponsible for leading a User Interface Design team responsible for translating user business requirements into high quality designs within agreed timeframes utilizing the functional knowledge of media products and services Able to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment



Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience5-8 years of professional web/graphic design and/or production experience Strong knowledge of ERP, CRM and Order Management systems. 4 years of experience building transactional systems.5  years experience in HTML, XHTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSSProficiency with design tools including Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia FlashGIF animation; excellent graphic and HTML optimization skillsAt least 3 years leading a User Interface Design team Good problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly Experience with Usability & Human-Computer Interaction Experience conducting usability reviewsExperience with processes to create user-centered interface, knowledge of visual design principles, creative ability to envision user experienceMust excel in a fast paced environment and be able to manage own workload and make timely decisionsPrior accountablity for vision, strategy, and execution of the creative design for product Detail oriented

Job Description

The qualified candidate will work with the Design team and will be responsible for the front-end development of several media applications used by advertising agencies. This position requires someone who is comfortable working in a production environment.  Information Architect may be called upon to attend user interviews and will be responsible for translating user business requirements into high quality designs within agreed timeframes utilizing the functional knowledge of media products and services. Senior Information Architect is responsible for leading a User Interface Design team.  The ideal candidate will possess a high level of creativity & ability to translate ideas into functional designs. They will be responsible for leading a team in developing & producing user profiles, user scenarios, wireframes, interface design concepts, prototypes & production-ready mockups. Lead a team in the design of intuitive interfaces that enhance & simplify the user experience. The UI Team Lead will be responsible in assisting with the work product & deliverable creation & with the maintenance of application interface content. They will be responsible for presenting to senior client exec's & facilitating workshops as well as providing hands-on leadership & mentoring to a team. The candidate must  have a strong knowledge of ERP, CRM and Order Management systems and has to have at least 4 years of experience building transactional systems The candidate must have excellent communication and people skills.
