Inside Sales Manager – Selling advertising on Consumer medical based publications
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Inside Sales Manager with the primary responsibility as a front line Sales Manager running a small team of six advertising salespeople.
You must be experienced in delivering compelling sales presentations to executives of national companies, overcoming objections and closing, with a desire to win for yourself, your colleagues and the Company. This is an active sales and management role, with the successful applicant expected to lead from the front.
You must be able to demonstrate not only good sales management ability but also have experience in consumer magazine publishing at a national level.
This is a full time position based in our Madison Avenue, New York office.
The Inside Sales Manager will be:
Experienced with inside sales management with a provable track record of meeting sales goals and producing effective results
Able to demonstrate strong phone based presentation skills and have extensive success in selling advertising over the telephone at C Class level
Experienced with recruiting, training and motivating staff
Able to teach Sales Executives to prospect leads, qualify them and close
Be a confident negotiator able to work with senior level executives
Able to work independently and have the personality of a leader and be self driven
Excel in training and managing sales staff and be able to build an advertising team to achieve success

COMPENSATION:
This is a six figure income position. Made up of basic, commission and overriding bonus. The package is highly competitive and after 6 months includes medical and 401K with company matching.
