We're looking for abright and motivated individual to fill the role of Interactive BackendDeveloper with a dynamic online department, working within a hybrid marketingand advertising agency.

 

Our agency developsand executes marketing concepts for high level clients like FOX, Universal,X-Games, Arnette, Paramount,etc. We work on projects for Theatrical Releases, DVD Releases, Television,Action Sports, Fashion, Consumer Products and Lifestyle. Our work consistentlyreceives praise within the industry and is the subject of much PR andrecognition.

 

We’re looking for apositive, problem solving team member.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- You will beresponsible for the implementation and overall execution of backend programmingfor all our online initiatives.

- Participate inconceptualization and brainstorming sessions

- Participate inbudgeting and scheduling.

- Must work wellwithin a supportive and interactive department

- Must be ableto collaborate and work well with frontline development.

- You will beresponsible for managing source files, keeping Project Managers abreast ofonline progress and data.

- Manage offsiteservers and backend vendors

- Must bewilling to take ownership of projects and be accountable to the ultimatesuccess work.

- You must bewilling to suggest improvements and communicate procedural suggestionsefficiently.

- You will berequired to manage all projects within timeline and budgets.

- You must beable to serve as principal in the practices of the department.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

- Primary skillset requirements include:

- FlashActionScript 2 and 3

- PHP/MySQL/PostGreSQL

- ObjectOriented Programming (OPP)

- Flex 2

- Basic LinuxSystem Administration a plus.

- Ability toprogram promotion flash sites - programming Action Script 2 / 3 and PHP/MySQL. 

- Objectoriented programming and knowledge of any frameworks is a plus.

- Strong projectmanagement, time management, written and verbal communication skills aremandatory, as well as strong people skills

- Proactivethinker and creative problem solverwho is able to work independently yet function within a team environment

- Knowledge andunderstanding of various Web technologies, practices and strategies iscritical.

- Ability tohandle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
