Interactive Media Buyer

 We are OperationsInc, a human resources consulting firm located in Stamford, CT.  A client of ours, Media Horizons Incorporated, a Fairfield County direct marketing advertising agency, is seeking an experienced, ambitious Interactive Media Buyer.  They have asked us to assist them in the identification of potential candidates.

 

Media Horizons creates the most efficient media mix for the products or services marketed by their clients. They buy all forms of media without being limited by any single channel. This is an outstanding and visible opportunity to join the team supporting Media Horizon’s clients as a member of our dynamic account team.

 

Responsibilities:

In this position you will be responsible for online media planning, recommendations, buying, trafficking, tracking and reporting of media plans for Media Horizons’ clients and prospects. Specific duties will include:

 

· Strategic online media schedule planning for multiple products and initiatives

· Responsible for negotiating appropriate media on an ongoing basis

· Work closely with clients/account executive to implement media plans and assist in research and development of media plans

· Attend client meetings to present media plans, review results, as well as regular phone contact on a daily basis

· Analyze media plan results and make projections

· Perform strategic linking to gain maximum SEO placement for client

· Update analyses that require current results

· Maintain daily contact with vendors

· Review and respond to client requests

· Maintain knowledge of current online media trends and provide training to the agency

 

Requirements:

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of online media buying or search engine optimization experience with the ability to make sound decisions and recommendations drawing on past experience. In addition, the following competencies are required:

 

· Working knowledge of the media buying process: Research, Planning, recommendations, rate negotiation, materials trafficking, reporting

· Understanding of direct marketing and ROI analytics desired

· Familiarity with CPA, CPM, CPC pricing and negotiation of media buys in CPA, CPM or CPC pricing terms

· Ability to build and maintain strong vendor relationships

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent presentation skills

· Excellent organizational ability, detail oriented

· Solid negotiation skills and a general understanding of the media

· Proofreading ability

· Demonstrated competency in MS Office

· Strong Analytical ability, understanding of numbers and related data
