The Interactive division of Burson-Marsteller, Marsteller Interactive in Dallas Texas, seeks a digital project manager with 3-6 years proven experience.
Projects may include Web sites, micro-sites, wikis, social media, blog monitoring, Intranets, online ad campaigns, video streaming, flash modules, online public relations, search engine programs, and email marketing campaigns.
Interactive project management includes planning, organizing, and managing account tasks and resources to accomplish clearly defined project goals. You will work across the organization with various practice areas. The project manager typically leads an integrated team by working directly with a client (working under a Project Supervisor or Director).
Successful project management delivers to predicted metrics and traps actual utilization, steers staff availability, manages budgets, monitors budget use over the duration of the life of a project, ensures adherence to project schedules, and stewards creation of deliverables within the scope, schedule and budget defined for the account. A successful project manager understands the clients’ over-all business strategy and ensures all deliverables are developed against the set strategy. Where applicable, project managers ensure integrated plans with overall communication and marketing efforts as well as overall technical infrastructures.

Experience:
Professional experience with interactive agency, design firm, public relations, publishing, technology company, or corporation focusing on project oversight/management, documentation and tracking of resources to successfully complete Brand Building solutions. A strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, timelines, and efficiencies is a must.
Education:
Undergraduate degree or MBA focus in business, English, journalism, education, graphic design, production,

Suitable hybrid educational and professional experiences that would make one qualified based on criteria listed herein.
Required Skills:

· Strong ability to understand digital strategy and structure project commitments into clear, achievable parts
· Understanding of standard project management basics and methods
· Strong understanding of methods including Business Development, Project Delivery, and Web Development Framework
· Excellent understanding of the creative process within an agency setting

· Strong scheduling to resources' abilities to maximize efficiencies
· Excellent financial management skills with past experience in assembling financial forecasts, tracking project actuals, and identifying potential budget overruns
· Ability to assemble account-level resource forecasts
· Ability to collaborate with and link with clients, design teams and technology areas
· Understanding of digital document management and ftp repositories
· Ability to deconstruct, analyze and reinterpret complex and abstract information

Required Software Skills:
· Strong experience is using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Base Camp applications
· Working understanding of web based browser tools
· Good understanding of the Macintosh platform and Windows platforms
· Good understanding of back-end/content management, e-commerce, and other integrated technologies
· Good understanding of transaction layer technologies such as asp, jsp, xml, ajax, etc.
OtherSkills (Nice-to-Have):
· Ability to identify revenue generating opportunities and ability to steward those opportunities to the appropriate business development leads (i.e. the Project Director for Interactive new business development).
· Excellent and fluid writing skills
· Ability to draft documents and track tactical content assets
· Capacity to work expediently (with inspiration)
· Experience with Adobe Acrobat, In Design, Photoshop
· Bi-lingual (Spanish)
