Origin, an award winning creative services firm providing, traditional print design, interactive media design and development, PR services and marketing strategy is looking for a Project Manager as a dedicated resource for the interactive team.  In this senior role, become a significant contributor to delivering high caliber interactive media design on time while meeting client’s expectations.  You will manage multiple projects; consisting of both small and larger teams; short and on-going schedules. This position reports directly to a partner overseeing the Project Management function.  This role is pure project management, there is not a component of design or production involved.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:Consistently manage multiple projects for the interactive team, as well as interdisciplinary programs.Estimating project budget and defining project schedule to meet client’s expectations for project requirements.Oversee interactive team resources to deliver according to project milestonesHandle vendor selection, cut purchase orders, review and match invoices submitted by vendors. Assure vendors deliver according to project milestones.Work with Account Services (primary client liaison) to understand client requirements, process change order requests, provide updates on project milestones, deliver project and handle any customer grievances.  Act as stand in for AS during absences.Assist with defining scope of work for multimedia deliverables during proposal process for new projectsLiaise with other disciplines (PR, print, etc.) to marry interactive deliverables timeline to the client’s overall program delivery expectations.Act as production manager for audio and video projects.Provide guidance on multimedia (web, audio, video and motion) projects and create best practices for repeatable scopes of work.Increase resource utilization and efficiency during project deliver.  Perform analysis of completed projects, noting trends and make suggestions for future pricing.Work with client on specific copy changes during project timeline.Collaborate with partners regarding cost/scheduling estimate variances Assist with archiving and de-archiving files.Other duties as assigned by the parnters and company leaders

Required Experience5 or more years managing projects for a professional services firm. 2 or more years leading project teams delivering multimedia content.Experience analyzing historical data on project timelines, resource utilization, and budget to support recommendations for price changes and project scheduling best practices.Attention to detail for scheduling and budgeting analysisAbility to work under competing deadlines, while maintaining professionalism and a pleasant disposition both internally and externally.Understanding of the work flow/process flow specific to creative services projects covering multimedia, print and marketing disciplines.Competency with MS Word, Excel as well as some type of project planning and time capture software tool (C&P, MS Project, etc.)



Degree requirementsDegree preferred, Business or Advertising programs desired.
