Internet Marketing Specialist - eCommerce - Web Marketing - Online Marketing e-Commerce

The E-Commerce Department at Vcom IMC (www.vcomimc.com) has been rapidly expanding their online marketing efforts. We are looking to fill a Medium-level position assisting the E-Commerce Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to get in at the ground level of what will be a rapidly developing department within the company. You will have expert guidance from your Manager in becoming familiar with any tasks and processes detailed below.Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Department include: PPC management and reporting – Monitor, optimize, and coordinate paid search campaigns. Includes performing keyword research & analysis Promotion creation and testing – Create and test website promotions to increase website conversions. Ad copy creation/testing – Create and test online ad copy based on analytics. Maintain expertise & stay current with trends and techniques in Search Engine methodologies for Google, Yahoo, Msn, etc. Stay current with search engine optimization trends & techniques Develop & maintain optimized search engine friendly pages. This includes optimized meta information for pages, products, categories etc. Discovers Web marketing opportunities by researching and analyzing e-commerce market and sales data. Assist in creation and maintenance of viral marketing initiatives such as blogs, forums etc. Acquisition and evaluation of inbound/outbound links. Performs other related duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: To qualify for this position, you must possess/be: Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization best practices. Knowledge of Paid Search Engine Advertising protocols (Google, Yahoo, MSN etc) Google, Yahoo & MSN PPC Certification is a plus Knowledge of Campaign Web Activity Monitoring Tools (WebTrends, Google Analytics, Indextools, etc) Understanding of user search behavior & the mechanics of how search engines work High level of proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel) Demonstrated prioritization and multi-tasking abilities, time management and estimation skills, ability to take art direction and constructive criticism Self-motivated, with ability to work independently as well as collaboratively Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skillsTo really be successful in this role and to grow within the company, the ideal candidate for this position should be passionate about the impact that search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) can have on an organization. They should be genuinely interested in keeping up with the happenings in the e-commerce space & enjoy learning more and experimenting with techniques.
