Internet Project Specialist

We represent a well-established premier marketing company that has recently launched an exciting new ONLINE enterprise focused on the ENTERTAINMENT industry: Music, Fashion, Stage & Screen, Writing, Film & Video, and Visual Arts.  This exciting new site is designed to attract photographers, screenwriters, models, actors, composers, digital artists, stylists, singers, comedians, painters, producers, dancers, journalists, designers, directors, bloggers, poets, sculptors, writers, mixers, editors, cinematographers and others associated with the entertainment industry plus FANS of all of these mediums.

 

Based in Hollywood, FL they have a newly created role for  a Web 2.0 professional with experience working on web related projects and who is familiar with Internet technologies, online business and digital marketing from a Project Management perspective.

 

SKILLS:

Our preferred candidate possesses excellent organizational and project management skills, is a strategic thinker with strong communication abilities, and has an extensive knowledge of emerging technologies.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordinate website redesign with the designing and development team

- Maintain current website, handle relationships with current team members/developers

- Define strategy and actions to develop the site’s community

- Create and broadcast email newsletters

- Handle all kind of online marketing initiatives to drive additional traffic to the site

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 2+ years experience in interactive and marketing strategy across multiple industries (e.g. media, retailing and entertainment, etc.)

- Interactive or online planning and deployment

- Experience with Web 2.0 trends around social networks, RSS, online video, and other forms of media distribution/consumption

- Exceptional team player with the confidence and integrity to quickly earn client and internal team confidence

- Excellent presentation and writing skills

- Ability to project manage employees and contractors who are based virtually

- Ability to thrive in a fluid and entrepreneurial environment
