BeautiControl, a direct-sales skin care and cosmetic company owned by Tupperware in Carrollton, seeks energetic, talented graphic design, copywriter, and marketing interns ASAP. Work in a creative in-house design department learning the ins and outs of production and design with a team of talented artists who produce, art direct, and retouch high res images and files for magazines, catalogs and packaging with international exposure.

 Department administration and organizationMagazine production: participate in the step-by-step process of bringing a magazine to life, help lay out internal newsletters, learn how to follow established design guidelines to produce forms and fliers in a fast-paced environmentProduct packaging: assist and learn from a seasoned packaging artist to create mechanicals for cosmetics, fragrances, men’s and women’s skincareLogo design: participate in agency-style brainstorming sessions, pitch your own logo designs, and prepare art directors for presentationsAssisting art directors in preparing for tabletop photo shootsWrite copy for all vehicles (mostly print and online) to multiple audiences Edit/proof copy written by more senior writers Gather information for writing projects (like an investigative reporter) 
 

We¹re looking for a talented, reliable senior or junior level student, ready to pitch in and get the experience you need to land that dream job.

 

We require:

 Basic Mac OSX proficiency required; knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator (graphic designer)Portfolio that shows your good basic design skills, especially creative use of typeCurrently enrolled, senior or junior level student in a graphic design, marketing, or journalism program25 hours per week between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
