Investor Relations Associate

FD's Boston office is currently seeking an Associate to join its team as an investor relations specialist.  You will work with team members to manage client accounts, execute strategic communications plans, draft documents for client use (including quarterly earnings releases, management conference call scripts, investor presentations, client memoranda, etc.), conduct various kinds of research to aid both client and account management, and work on business development opportunities.  You will also be responsible for keeping up to date with key issues and current events in the financial markets and relevant industries to provide perspective to clients on internal, peer and market developments as well as maintaining contacts within the investment community to assess reactions to client initiatives.

 

Job Requirements:

 

§ Bachelor’s degree

§ Minimum of two to three years finance and banking experience and/or relevant business communications or financial public relations experience

§ Excellent writing skills

§ Exceptional attention to detail

§ Strong analytical skills

§ Proactive work ethic, self-starter and ability to drive processes forward with minimal direction

§ Ability to meet designated deadlines

§ Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated time management skills and ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands

§ Ability to communicate information effectively and accurately, verbally or in writing

§ Up-to-date knowledge of the financial markets, regulations, investment styles

§ Understanding of the corporate earnings process for public companies

§ Computer proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word

 

Desired Experience:

§ Previous experience in technology industry preferred
