We are seeking a qualified individual to fulfill our current opening for Java Architect. This role requires both strong individual

contributions as an architect and small-team software development leadership.

 

S/He will concurrently lead multiple systems development initiatives as an Architect from Business Requirements,

Architecture, Design and Development through deployment.

 

The candidate will contribute as a key technical lead focused on the requirements, architecture, design, development, and

implementation of complex, mission critical enterprise strength applications. The successful candidate must possess

strong analytical skills, customer focus and in-depth technical architecture expertise in internet technologies including

J2EE, SOA, Web Services and web development frameworks (Hibernate, Spring, Axis2) in a Unix environment.  The

candidate must work closely and productively with offshore development staff.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

· 4+ years of experience as an OO programmer with Java as a primary skill

· .NET experience is a PLUS

· Experience leading a team of developers and being able to direct the development process

· Java, Hibernate, Spring, MySql, Postgres

· Comfortable with: Performance Tools, J-Probe, J-Profiler

· Proven design disciplines and experience

· Experience working with small offshore team desirable

· Strong communication and documentation skills
