Jr. Associate Publicist & Writer

Our Company: Rubenstein Public Relations is a leading full-service media relations agency based in New York. With more than 20 years of experience, RPR is recognized for our media expertise and the ability to secure in-depth feature coverage in print, electronic and digital outlets. We represent a clientele comprised of the most respected names in real estate, financial services, luxury consumer brands, technology and entertainment.

We are currently looking for a Junior Associate Publicist to work closely with our Senior Vice President and our Senior Writer.

YOU MUST HAVE TWO (2) YEARS NYC PR AGENCY EXPERIENCE to be considered.

 

Associate Publicist Responsibilities:

* Support our Senior Vice President with managing daily activity on financial and business oriented accounts
* Serve as day-to-day contact for media and clients
* Write press releases, media alerts, photo captions, media pitches, etc.
* Prepare meeting agendas, notes, reports, etc.
* When needed organize and attend events
* Assist with developing strategic and creative PR initiatives

Junior Writer Responsibilities:* Update internal marketing materials, company backgrounder, web site content, etc.
* Create media lists for new business proposals
* Assist senior writer with research projects 

 Qualifications: 2+ YEARS OF NYC PR AGENCY EXPERIENCE Excellent writing skills Creative and energetic personality B.S/B.A in public relations, marketing, business communications or related field preferred
