This person is solely responsible for the technical execution of design assets including final HTML/CSS templates and project work files. Although this is more a production than a design role, a strong visual eye and thorough understanding of how typography, layout, color impact design is also necessary. As Lead Front-End Developer, you will have an excellent opportunity to lead project teams, run a group of like-minded developers and work on exciting strategic clients. Travel - 25% more or less depending on project; candidate should be comfortable with travel and overtime as client commitment requires.TEMPORARY JOB WITH BENEFITS AND PERKS! This is a 40 hour per week on-site contract job starting asap and lasting for approximately 3 months. You are, of course, under no obligation to accept such an offer.Client Description: Consulting, Interactive Marketing and Managed Services.Other Requirements: Minimum five years experience working at an advertising or design agency contributing to the creative execution of large scale web and software application user-interface design projects including ecommerce, content portals, kiosks, intranet/extranets, e-mail marketing, online advertising and web-based application design Ability to solve complex design problems and achieve the highest quality design while pushing the boundaries of rich media online applications Solid understanding of W3C and Accessibility guidelines Ability to work quickly but with a strong attention to detail and accuracy Process-oriented with ability to work with different UI materials and rapid prototyping Strong communications and organizational skills with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced production deadline-driven environment Proficient in most MSOffice applications as well as both Windows and Mac operating systems Education and/or Experience Bachelor's (Master's a plus) of Arts degree in Marketing/Advertising/Interactive Design/Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
