HUNTINGTON LEARNING CENTER, the nation's oldest provider of supplemental education, seeks an energetic Managing Director for the Waldorf, Maryland location.

 

Huntington Learning Center is one of the largest companies in the Supplemental Education Industry with over 400 centers nationwide. Our exceptional people are the reason that we have shown consistent growth since 1977.   

 

Currently, we are looking for the right person to fill an important position in one of Huntington’s busiest centers.  The right person is professional, knowledgeable, articulate and confident.  This person has a background in education, management and possibly marketing or sales.

Responsibilities include include, but are not limited to the following:

Meeting with parents of current and potential students.

Meeting with school teachers and guidance counselors, PTO's and PTA's.





Providing excellent customer service.

Marketing the center’s services in the community.

Assisting in the management of the center.

All Candidates must possess the following:

Bachelor's degree or higher.

Minimum 2 years  experience as an educator K-12.

Excellent communication, writing, and listening skills.

Ability to multi-task, to be organized, and to pay attention to details.

Hours:

Monday through Thursday 10 A.M. to 8:30 P.M.

Alternating Saturdays 8:30 AM to 2:00 P.M.

Flexible during busy periods as needed.
