PPC operations also include Paramount Digital Entertainment, Paramount Home Entertainment, Paramount Pictures International, Paramount Licensing Inc., Paramount Studios and Worldwide Television Distribution.Description:The Manager, Overhead Capital Reporting will manage, oversee and maintain the SG&A expenses financial package and variance explanations for assigned departments and assist in the preparation of the incentive plan and capitalization film cost model.Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:* Reviews monthly SG&A (overhead) expenses financial package and provide variance explanation for management* Issues monthly SG&A cash flow and compare to budget (or estimates) with variance explanation* Reviews and prepares monthly/quarterly accruals journal entries relating to SG&A expenses for the corporate level* Understands and assists Executive Director in preparing/updating long-term and short-term incentive plan costs model * Assists Executive Director in analysis and maintain capitalization film cost model* Prepares quarterly SG&A expenses financial package to PWC and assist in answering auditor questions* Oversees management roll up and maintain SG&A expense type for the accounting system within the Overhead segment of the income statements* Conducts quarterly review and analyze accrual account balances relating to SG&A * Conducts monthly review and analyze SG&A cost at divisional level to budget or estimates* Oversees and reviews Aviation monthly billable costs to affiliates* Develops a departmental process procedure for Aviation and Overhead with respects to monthly closings and daily tasks* May be requested for special projectsQualifications:Basic qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Accounting* Minimum of 3 years of attest engagement experience in the accounting field* Public accounting background * A thorough understanding of GAAP is required* Strong computer skills with Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint* Proven management experience * Experience with mid-size financial systemsDesired skills:* Big Four experience highly preferred* CPA preferred * Audit and financial statement experience preferred and exposure to foreign currency is a plus* Experience with SAP and Hyperion preferred* Must have good written and oral communication skills, and have the soft personal skills needed to collect accurate information from a wide network of people in a timely manner* The position demands the organizational ability to coordinate several projects simultaneouslyEligibility requirements:* Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered * Must be willing to submit to a background investigation* Must be able to show eligibility to work in the United StatesParamount Pictures is an Equal Opportunity EmployerJob ID # 1343Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Hollywood, CAJob Number: 5269Company URL: http://www.paramount.com/careers
