Role includes working with research firms and other suppliers, managing quantitative and qualitative studies, and database management.Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:*Conduct world-class market research to aid business decision-making *Manage day-to-day vendor relationships relating to primary market research projects*Design and manage research studies including vendor selection and management, methodology development, and analysis of results *Summarize market research reports into key findings and executive summaries*Communicate market research findings to marketing, creative services and sales team*Manage database of tracking, box office and sell-off data used as input for regression modeling*Conduct internet searches and use research vendor websites, maximizing research support with limited resources*Update and reconcile market research budget, including vendor invoicesQualifications:Basic qualifications:*BA in market research, marketing, psychology, statistics or other related field*Minimum four years of market research experience on the client or vendor side in a home video, theatrical or consumer packaged goods market research departmentDesired skills:*Experience planning, conducting and analyzing data from both qualitative and quantitative rimary research studies, utilizing a variety of research methodologies *Proven track record of successfully conducting research studies within timing and budget constraints*Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, experience with survey design, sampling, and data analysis *Previous use of multivariate analysis, factor analysis, regression modeling and other advanced statistical techniques*Must be extremely well organized and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously *Ability to analyze research data and translate raw information into actionable insights that can be easily understood and utilized by the entire organization *Excellent presentation and writing skills *Must be able to work effectively with others to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgetsEligibility requirements:* Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered * Must be willing to submit to a background investigation* Must be able to show eligibility to work in the United StatesParamount Pictures is an Equal Opportunity EmployerSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Hollywood, CAJob Number: 5234Company URL: http://www.paramount.com/careers
