Manager, Royalty Accounting - Licensing

PPC operations also include Paramount Digital Entertainment, Paramount Home Entertainment, Paramount Pictures International, Paramount Licensing Inc., Paramount Studios and Worldwide Television Distribution.Description:This position is responsible for managing, facilitating and reconciling royalty income and managing the CMS (Contract Management System) for the Paramount Licensing Group.Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:* Manages and books incoming cash on a daily basis. Process includes the following: -In-depth contract interpretation for payments, participation, and other key deal terms. -Analysis of royalty reports for reconciliation with accounts receivable and contract terms. -Conversion of royalty reports to standardized format for upload into contract management system, requiring in-depth knowledge of contract management system and royalty accounting. -Investigations and reconciliations related to adjustments on incoming royalty statements. -Interface with senior financial analyst to execute month end closing activities. -Management of interns in performance of duties* Manages Accounts Receivable, overseeing royalty report collection as well as credit checking and revenue collections activities for department. Duties include management of audits of department licensees.* Interfaces with Studio Participations department, ensuring accurate accounting of royalties and handling all audit requests made by property participants.* Interfaces with all lines of business within department to provide up-to-date payment information on all deals in contract management system, including regular and ad hoc reports. * Assists the Director of Finance with cash projections revenue recognition and E1, E2 & E3 budget forecasts.* Oversees contract management system processes and maintenance, including regular review of all functions for accuracy and efficiency.
