Manager, State Public Relations

 

One of the nation’s largest professional associations seeks a talented and energetic public relations professional to help our chapters conduct effective media and public relations programs. You will develop programs and resources to extend the organization’s award-winning national advocacy and public relations programs to the state and local level. Specific responsibilities include conducting training for PR contacts, working with national partners to build effective grassroots programs, administering a grants program to support public relations programs, and providing public relations counsel to chapters. Position requires strong writing and project management skills, as well as demonstrated experience in developing and implementing public relations programs. Requires bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications or related field, as well as three to five years progressively responsible experience. Association experience is a strong plus.
