ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to our rapid growth and customer focus, we are seeking a Regional Strategy Manager in our San Francisco regional office to handle the Western region. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, the Regional Strategy Manager is committed to our “Raving Fan” standard of service both internally and for our clients. An effective communicator, passionate about the potential of Centro’s products and services in the online, interactive arena, you are a strategic thinker and problem solver with an understanding of online and offline media who can present compelling and strategic integrated solutions for Centro’s current and potential online advertising clients. Helping our sales team gain an in-depth understanding of client needs, the Regional Strategy Manager will proactively develop new and imaginative custom, on-line programs in support of our sales efforts in the region. Finally, you are an individual with a passion for online, local advertising, who thrives in a fast-paced, fun, dynamic environment.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIESHave in-depth understanding of top regional accounts Create customized solutions and strategic direction to top regional accounts Join sales team in client meetings, when needed, to deliver program and solution recommendations Take national marketing efforts and break them down for regional clients Strategically position those marketing efforts to the regional Vice President and sales teams Work with regional peers to share best practices Assist the sales team on "big idea" presentations, work with internal teams to creative cohesive presentations (develop creative mock ups, custom programs, research decks, and quality sales materials, etc) Proactively create detailed narrative briefs for current and potential clients Uncover sales leads and new business opportunities for the region Have a full understanding and be efficient in specific research and analytical tools, including TNS, Hoovers/Redbooks, Media Audit, and ComScore to better understand website consumers Have a firm handle on the current competitive landscape including research and sales opportunities Have a full understanding of online and offline media tactics and agency media planning Stay abreast of online standards, both industry-wide and Centro-specific, in order to foster expertise and the continual transfer of knowledge to the Centro sales team and our clients Meet regularly with our Regional VP and sales team to review accounts, solicit challenges, and develop recommendations for new products Support our Regional VP with requests and special projects as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
Work Experience: Strategic Planning Work Experience 4 + years agency or client media or strategic planning experience 2 + years interactive marketing experience (or related experience) Enthusiastic team player Quantitative skills for data analysis, pricing, and forecasting Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable with presenting complex platforms Excellent time and project management skills, able to priortiize and manage multiple projects Experience in taking ownership of a project and seeing it through to completion Heavy attention to detail

Education: Bachelors degree or higher highly preferred.
