HUGE is an innovative full service digital agency with our roots in interactive design.  We have offices in Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and London and a dedication to beautiful, highly-functional design. We’ve won numerous design and branding awards for our work and have an outstanding client list including IKEA, Atlantic Records, JetBlue, AOL, and Scholastic.

 

The manager of business development will lead new business development for both the NY and LA offices.  The manager of business development will proactively identify, locate, and research business leads through traditional as well as more creative channels.  The manager will also present compelling solutions to prospective clients as he or she responds to RFPs and attends pitches that integrate HUGE’s results-driven process and the most recent advancements in technology.  He or she will work closely with the internal teams to maintain long lasting relationship and a profitable client list. The manager will also work with senior staff to improve and develop new business strategy and forecasts.

 

Required:6+ years experience in interactive sales or new business development A solid understanding of the lifecycle of web development (Web Strategy, Interaction Design, Visual Design and Development), digital advertising and marketing initiatives.Strong understanding of internet and industry trends, key players, terminology, and overall economics of the marketplace.Extensive experience building new business pipeline and exceeding financial goalsStrong ability to craft tailored presentations and proposalsExcellent organizational and leadership skills to steward new business process and pitch coordination with team(s)Strong analytical skills and experience applying them to market strategy, customer requirements, and market trends.Demonstrated ability to think creatively and prioritize rapidly, while managing multiple initiatives simultaneouslyNegotiation skills and experience creating proposals and RFP responsesStrong presentation skills and ability to accurately articulate client needs as well as the value of a strategic relationship with HUGEExperience communicating industry and sales opportunities to management and facilitating internal enhancements designed to best position the company for successIndustry contacts are a major plusExperience raising the company profile (mailings, attending industry events, networking, etc)
