Based in the Los Angeles area, Clegg is a leading manufacturer and supplier of promotional products and point-of-purchase components to the ASI and retail display industries. Our Company's core expertise is in developing light, sound, and motion technologies for today's leading national Point-of-Purchase display producers. The Company is firmly established and has demonstrated sustained growth over the past twenty years. We are expanding the organization in order to meet the immediate needs of the business.
Job responsibilities include:
· Overall, you will be chiefly responsible for all outside/in-the-field sales activities at industry functions and customer offices.
o Target customers include primarily retail display manufacturers, printers and promotional and advertising agencies.
o Our Company’s particular expertise is offering Motion, Light and Sound to retail displays.
o Product categories where our products apply include the following display types:
Ø Retail Environments/Fixtures
Ø Counter Displays - Permanent & Temporary
Ø Freestanding Floor Displays - Permanent & Temporary
Ø In-Line, Gondola, On-Shelf In addition, you will be a key member of the sales team, reporting directly to the VP Sales and working in tandem with the Manager of Inside Sales for Retail Display Products. Achieve/exceed the Company’s quarterly and annual sales and profit goals for this Division, and maintain the Company’s industry-high standard of customer care and satisfaction.Help set strategy for the Retail Display Products Division, and be an integral and trusted participant in crafting strategy for the Company overall, while tending to the everyday details of the sales team.Monitor the weekly/monthly/quarterly sales of the Retail Display Products Division business and recommend actions if performance falls below goalProvide monthly forecasting for the Division and key accounts such that the Company maintains visibility into future months. Maintain an organized and updated weekly sales status reporting showing all key account status and next steps relating to pending and outstanding quotes, as well as activities with current and prospective customers. Provide ongoing insight and recommended action regarding customer/market feedback on competition, new products, key trends, for the Retail Display Products category, making sure that the Company is considering all new innovations that have the potential to further build the business. Note that the above is to be done in concert with actual selling such that sales results allow the Company to consider investing in new technologies and applications. Develop the 2009 annual sales plan with key customer quarterly/annual sales goals based on a sound and measurable strategy. Be the emissary on behalf of the Company at industry trade functions and customer meetings/conferences.Establish productive and collaborative partnership relations with all levels of management and throughout the company to engender team support as needed to get the job done.

Job Requirements:Must have excellent executive presence to gain the respect with customers and with internal team members.Must be articulate and compelling in a meeting presentation settingMust have excellent written skills Must have superior planning and analytical skills Must be adept and self-sufficient with Excel and PowerPointMust have a proven record in account development, project management, innovative presentations and customer service.Must have ability and willingness to travel (up to 50%)Knowledge of retail display manufacturers and printers a significant plus.
