Responsibilities Our Consumer Marketing practice has an immediate need for a seasoned Managing Supervisor to join our New York office. This position affords the outstanding opportunity to counsel a global client in establishing a strong presence in the United States through events management and media relations. The Managing Supervisor will develop branding strategy and design quality programs which should further our firm’s stellar reputation of designing and executing award-winning public relations campaigns.The Managing Supervisor is responsible for the planning and execution of client programs to meet business objectives and contribute to the firm’s profit. The successful candidate will ensure overall client satisfaction by employing effective account management skills and overseeing initiatives. The Managing Supervisor must have an in-depth understanding of client objectives, the client’s industries, and the financial aspects of agency account management. In addition to generating innovative solutions for clients and developing new business, the Managing Supervisor will employ best practices in managing, motivating and training junior staff. Our Managing Supervisors are vital to our firm-wide success in maintaining high levels of client and employee satisfaction. This appointment offers the career-enhancing opportunity of serving as an instructor with our corporate training program - FHU. The successful hire should be able to effectively handle increasing levels of responsibility as his/her tenure increases with the firm. Qualifications • At least 6 years of professional communications experience including some work within a public relations agency strongly preferably • Possess a deep understanding of the clients, their industry, and the financial aspects of the account • Proven track record of success creating, planning, and implementing programs for clients • Ability to lead, manage and delegate to a team while simultaneously managing multiple tasks • Strong written and verbal skills in informal as well as formal client and business settings • Solid understanding of public relations and marketing principles, as well as strategic planning and implementation • Knowledge of new business development and strong critical thinking skills • Demonstrated thorough knowledge of management principles and related best practices • Must possess well-developed organizational and creative skills • Results-focused approach and committed to going the extra mile for clients Click Here to Apply Fleishman-Hillard is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
