Managing Supervisor/Vice President, Public Affairs

This position provides the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with collaborative teams on a variety of issues corporate positioning and reputation, particularly as it relations to corporate social responsibility, crisis situations, internal communications, and legislative affairs.  Responsibilities Responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, writing and executing programs for Fortune 100 and mid-sized companies, and advancing corporate communications strategies that embrace the client’s strategy and positioning. Candidate will be expected to manage clients, manage staff, develop and manage budgets and business plans, and ensure profitability. Will lead regular account planning meetings and new business presentations. Qualifications• Ten plus years of progressive communications experience • Demonstrated mastery of subjects related to navigating, understanding and impacting public policy• Experience working on issues related to corporate social responsibility and/or sustainability• Broad government relations exposure and experience outside lobbying• Powerful presence with excellent interpersonal and client transaction skills• Passion for ideas and teamwork tempered by an entrepreneurial drive to contribute and help grow the business unit and agency as a whole• Ability to provide counsel and leadership to influence and impact client strategy and project management• Demonstrated interest in working shoulder-to-shoulder with account teams on development and execution of strategy• Excellent writing ability with extensive experience in all forms of corporate and executive communication, from business media news releases to executive talking points  Click Here to Apply  VOX is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
