World Research Group, a premier producer of executive-level business-to-business conferences, seeks a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, intelligent candidate to research and create programming for our top-notch business conferences.
As a Conference Director you will work with WRG’s expert marketing, operations and sponsorship sales team to develop compelling, highly focused business conferences across the United States. As Conference Director you will be responsible for:
+ Intensive primary market research to define conference topics
+ The creation of compelling program agendas based on your research
+ Identification and recruitment of best-in-class speakers to address the audience
+ Marketing summaries and sales copy
+ All promotional material creation (except graphic art)
+ Manage your conferences on-site to meet delegates and presenters
Requirements for consideration:
+ BA or BS from a top-tier university with 3.0 or above GPA
+ 2-3 years related business experience (although exceptional recent grads will be considered)
+ Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and meet multiple deadlines
+ Strong networking and relationship building skills
+ Ability to travel up to 25% of your time (travel is US-based only)
+ Well developed communication skills both oral and written
+ Experience in public relations a plus
+ Business writing experience and/or journalism background a plus
