Market Research / Project Manager

An Atlanta-based marketing information company is looking to hire a Market Research Project Manager.  Our services include custom market research, strategic planning, and business information publishing.

 

Day-to-day responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:  manage custom marketing research projects (primarily quantitative).  Must be proficient in interpreting clients’ business needs into an actionable research agenda.  Responsibilities will span study design, fieldwork management, analysis, report development, and client relations/communication.  Other accountabilities will encompass effective management of our vendors, assisting with sales proposals, and delivering quality work on time and on budget.

 

 

Necessary Skills

 

--2+ years of client- or supplier-side market research experience (in a client-facing role).

--Project/Program management experience.

--Online survey experience.

--Organized and extremely detail oriented.

--Proficient in MS Office products – especially Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

--Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

--Ability to interpret research findings into business advice.

--Must be able to meet tight deadlines.

--Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

--Must be a self-starter and someone who thrives in a small business / entrepreneurial environment.

--List management experience preferred.

--SPSS proficiency preferred.
