Marketing Assistant / Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY:
Support the Marketing Director with the coordination, facilitation and organization of marketing campaigns, programs, administration and creative. Programs include national advertising, special events, retailer promotions and visual merchandising. Responsibilities include creative development/ requests, event material coordination, trade show execution and visual merchandising development and distribution and photography

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports Marketing Director in the development, management, and execution of national and local based marketing campaigns and programs. Tasks include: Maintaining current retailer information, maintain and schedule advertising deadlines, distribute and create press releases and new product launch announcements.  Distributing salesman /retailer sales tools.  Monitor and maintain current merchandise inventories.  Assist in distribution and tracking of photo shoot products to publications and events.  Assist with the development and maintenance of retailer database and product database for web development. Manages all marketing samples for photo shoots, corporate displays, catalogs etc.

 

REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel & Access), Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator/CorelDraw, InDesign experience extremely necessary. Must possess excellent organizational skills with extreme attention to details. Must possess excellent phone skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently after initial direction. Must display eagerness to learn and must continuously be prepared to take on new challenges.
