Marketing Assistant - Intercollegiate Athletics

Marquette University, which includes undergraduate, graduate, and professional schools, is a Catholic, Jesuit institution in an urban setting. It enrolls approximately 10,400 students in undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs. There are 1,600 faculty and staff members.

Duties and Responsibilities:  Marquette University is seeking qualified candidates to fill two positions for Marketing Assistant. This position is a 12-month assignment which is responsible for marketing of men's basketball, women's basketball and Olympic sports. This individual will assist with the creation and implementation of marketing plans for the above stated areas, will assist with the planning and implementing of game promotions and special events, will help generate season, group and corporate ticket sales, will coordinate the Future Fanatics kids events and package, will work with Community Outreach and charitable donations request program, and will assist with administrative duties as needed. Compensation for position is $1,000 per month plus 8% commission on men's basketball season ticket sales. Position is full-time, benefits eligible. 

Bachelor's degree and computer experience required.
