Due to our growth, we currently have an opening for a Marketing Communication Specialist for our OEM Manufacturing Division, HOERBIGER KT – AMERICA MANUFACTURING. This position works with Strategic Marketing and Branch Managers in charting the communication goals of the region, assuring its adherence to corporate communication standards and brand integrity.Job Function
To assist Business to Busness Industiral Parts Sales and Marketing Management with communications media and advertising materials to effectively represent the company's products and services to customers and prospects. Essential Functions
This position is responsible for the following within the area of their responsibility (OEM) receives work assignments from Communications Manager and/or the Director of Strategic Marketingcommunicates project progress and status according to defined requirementsplans, develops and implements all communications and public relations activities, both external and internalplans, develops and implements support materials and services for communications and public relations coordinates the corporate and marketing communications, and public relations at the tactical levels with the Director of Strategic Marketingreviews literature in the assigned marketing project, previous marketing materials used in the assignment area, and gathers materials of competitive companies in the field. researches, writes, develops sketches of supporting graphics, and consults with printing firm representatives on the needs of the particular project and presents recommendations to marketing manager or committee. Plans and coordinates tradeshow exhibitsdevelops and coordinates multimedia packages—letters, brochures, video,—for particular assignments. develops draft advertising text and layouts as part of campaign materials and presents to Communications Manager for review and approval.plans, develops and implements improvement processes as identified by the HOERBIGER Communications Manager of the region reports project progress and budget to the HOERBIGER Communications Manager of the region as well as within their area of responsibilityprovides editorial content (story ideas) to the Corporate Journalist, Americas Region for publication in internal and external magazines (@Motion, @MotionInside, Compressor Tech 2, etc..)Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business management with three to five years of solid writing and editing experience, preferably with industrial business to business products or any combination there of. Experience must include both print-based media and web-based media.Superior presentation and analytical skills, plus demonstrated skills to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously. Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignments. Must be willing and able to travel.Must be able to produce brochures through Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat. Strong expertise in the Microsoft applications Word, PowerPoint and Excel is required.
