Marketing Communications Project Manager

The Freelance Group, Inc. currently has an opening for a Marketing Communications Project Manager. This position will have the opportunity to work onsite at the client’s global corporate headquarters.

 

The Marketing Communications team in this client organization drives brand awareness and sales growth through integrated and strategic marketing communications initiatives. As a member of this team, you will work closely with internal marketing professionals and external agencies/creative suppliers to develop and execute savvy marketing communications programs that exceed expectations, support the organization's product assortment and drive differentiation.


Essential Job Functions:

 

The project management responsibilities will be directly related to the development and/or coordination of the following types of projects: marketing communications campaigns and programspositioning/branding initiativescatalog coordinationcontent developmentprint advertisingdirect mail sales support & product support literature trade shows and special industry eventsagency and supplier managementwebsite developmentpublic relations photo shoot managementinteractive and e-marketing effortsinternal/employee communicationsbudget management


Qualifications:Passion for building brands through marketing and communications strategies.4 Year Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or communications.3-5 years experience in advertising, marketing communications management, corporate and/or agency project management or traffic management.Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple business teams.Clear understanding of the principles of Project Management and the appropriate processes.Comfort with ambiguity.Strong leadership, negotiation and budget management skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs; experience with Quark, FileMaker Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and InDesign is a plus.
