Description:About the OpportunityMarketing Consultant, Strategic Consulting GroupLocation: Dallas, TXThis position will provide professional services related to Marketing Communications to Epsilon's clients on fee-for-service arrangements. Typically the Marketing Consultant will be assigned to one or two clients at a time and be responsible for analyzing and reporting the results of marketing activities and developing and presenting suggestions for improvement to clients and client service teams.The Strategic Marketing Consultant works as a member of the Strategic Consulting Group to provide strategic consulting and reporting support to clients and team members related to marketing and loyalty programsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Participates and contributes to activities related to marketing strategy development and execution- Provides business-related input into the development and ongoing maintenance of the CRM/marketing systems used by clients- Designs, creates and distributes reports using Excel and other analytical tools. - Conducts database queries and utilizes SQL as necessary to answer key business questions - Documents key business and/or technical requirements for marketing systems- Creates documents to communicate findings and recommendationsQualifications:REQUIRED EDUCATION:- 4-year degree in a business field, especially Marketing EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS DESIRED:- 2-3 years of work experience within some aspect of B2C or B2B marketing - Possesses broad business acumen as well as basic analytic skills- Has ability to think strategically and act tactically- Expertise in accessing and analyzing customer databases and/or other large data structures. Hands-on knowledge of SQL- Superior organizational capabilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
