Marketing Coordinator / Administrative Assistant

Small public relations/marketing firm in NYC seeks a Marketing Coordinator/Administrative Assistant who is responsible, professional, motivated, detail-oriented and a team player.

Responsibilities:
Duties include: Database entry and updating; Answer phones; Support president and staff with correspondence/email follow up for marketing, sales & public relations activities; Prepare/send emails, Research on Internet, Maintain press kits (clipping, filing, organizing); Proof/Edit/Type documents; Maintain/Update multicultural calendar of events; Fax; Photocopy; File; Prepare mail/shipments; Maintain inventory of office supplies; Anticipate the needs of the office; and Take independent action.


Time permitting, you will have the opportunity to get involved with public relations, marketing and advertising sales and assist in the publication (writing & production) of our daily e-newsletter, quarterly print newsletter and annual directory. The most important qualification is a good attitude. You should be a hard worker and willing to do whatever task is needed to get the job done.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree; Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and database Filemaker Pro (helpful but not necessary); Bilingual is a plus.

Experience Required:
Entry Level; 1-2 years in a similar position; Previous office experience required.
