Marketing Manager for B2B Event Group

1105 Media is seeking an experienced business-to-business event marketing manager to join its growing Enterprise Computing Group (ECG).  The event marketing manager will be responsible for driving more attendees to assigned events and for increasing the yield from marketing initiatives.  Main responsibilities include creating, writing, and executing campaigns across email, direct-mail and advertising that increase audience acquisition and improve retention. This individual will also contribute to event web messaging and assist in the development of  promotional materials for the sponsor/exhibitor sales team. Duties will include but not be limited to:Develop promotional programs; contribute to and implement new tactics and strategies in conjunction with Marketing management to reach, create awareness, and generate attendee registrations to assigned eventsConsistently monitor and  analyze results from marketing efforts and make changes required to increase effectiveness and yield.Research and suggest additional lists and affiliations or relationships that could support the marketing programEvaluate and provide rationale and recommendation on new sectors or audience sets that would help the events growMaintain and adhere to schedules and ensure coordination of all resources to ensure the promotion programs are produced in a timely and cost efficient mannerDirect and establish into barter arrangements to support eventsManage and coordinate outside resourcesAnalyze and make recommendations for improvements to data collected on registration forms to drive higher future attendance The ideal candidate for this position will be creative, detailed and deadline oriented, be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be a team player who will support and interface with senior marketing management, sales and other marketing staff. Most of all, he/she must have strong conceptual, writing and creative talents, and the unwavering desire to win by exceeding attendee goals on assigned events.

Additional requirements:5 year of marketing experience - with at least3 years successful attendee acquisition in B2B events.Demonstrated creative and writing skills that produce resultsProgram orientated vs. task orientedProficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)Familiarity with SEO and working knowledge of HTML a plusUnderstanding for technology industry is important.  Experience working with developers a plus.
